Last April 4, 2009 my trip to Manila had a simple efficient itinerary from Adelaide-Sydney-Manila via Qantas. It was convenient as I was able to reach my destination on the same day.
I recall being nervous then due to several airplane problems experienced by the airline at that time.
The Adelaide airport is a simple one and quite near where we live. International flights often require you to start your travel in the morning and most travelers have breakfast at Burger King or any food joint in the area.
You can also do some shopping before entering the international flight lounge.
